Creatine Monohydrate is probably the best known and most studied of the bodybuilding/athletic supplements and has been proven to improve power, strength, speed and lean mass. Creatine also helps to reduce recovery time after exercise.

Creatine can be especially beneficial to vegetarians as dietary sources of creatine are almost exclusively meat and fish.

Creatine has been shown in many trials to be safe to take in the recommended amounts. Side effects rarely experienced are bloating, cramps and diarrhoea but these can be prevented by drinking plenty of fluid or slightly reducing the dosage
    For best results, many people use a loading phase to saturate the muscles with creatine, followed by a maintenance phase to maintain muscular creatine levels.

    Loading: Mix 1 level scoop (5g) with water or your preferred drink. Take 4 times a day for the first 5 days.

    Maintenance: After the loading phase, take 1 scoop (5g) in the morning and a second scoop after training or in the afternoon.
    This may be followed by a period of rest from using creatine, or back on the loading phase.

    Contraindications: This product should not be used whilst pregnant or breastfeeding and should not be used by persons under the age of 18 (simply because not enough testing has been done with these subjects).
