Golden root (Rhodiola rosea)

Eurycoma longifolia (Tongkat Ali, Longjack)
Eurycoma works mainly by increasing testosterone levels, and is gaining interest in the body-building community because increased testosterone levels in the body increase muscle mass and strength. It also increases energy production in the body by increasing ATP (Adenosine triphosphate), an energy-rich chemical that is responsible for nearly all the energy production in the body. During times of physical effort we can use up our ATP faster than we can replace it and we become fatigued. In this way, Eurycoma raises energy levels, reduces fatigue, and heightens mental alertness.

Ginkgo biloba
A herb with many beneficial properties, including improvements in thinking, learning, and memory (cognitive function), Also widely used for Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease, but included here mainly for its excellent properties of improving blood flow by dilating blood vessels and reducing the stickiness of platelets.

Gota Kola (Gotu Kola, Centella asiatica, Hydrocotyle asiatica, Indian pennywort)
Has been used as a herbal treatment for centuries. It is mentioned in the ancient traditional Chinese Shennong Herbal some 2,000 years ago, and in Indian Ayurvedic medicine some 3,000 years ago. I will list its effects as they are many and varied:

• Stimulates the healing of chronic lesions such as ulcers, surgical wounds, fistula, gynaecological and bladder lesions

This may sound too good to be true, but it has a history of use for thousands of years, it is the most widely used Ayurvedic herb, and is know as the "Fountain of Youth" by the Chinese.

Panax Ginseng
Improves circulation, increases blood supply, revitalizes and aids recovery from weakness after illness, stimulates the body. Panax Ginseng is the most widely researched of the Ginsengs. The active components of are ginsenosides, which have been shown to have a variety of beneficial effects, including anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer, as well as conditions associated with diabetes and, of course, erectile dysfunction.

Damiana (Turnera diffusa, syn. Turnera aphrodisiaca)
Damiana is used to treat conditions ranging from coughs to constipation to depression. It is reputed to help with energy, emphysema, low oestrogen, frigidity, hot flushes, impotence, infertility, menopause, Parkinson's disease, PMS, inflammation of the prostate, Lou Gehrig's disease, and many more conditions affecting the reproductive organs in both males and females.

Muira Pauma (Ptychopetalum olacoides, Potency Wood)
Used for therapy of sexual debility, fatigue, neuromuscular problems, and rheumatism. It seems to have two main effects: increasing libido and increasing penile hardness. Muira Puama is rich in naturally occurring sterols, which are possible building blocks for hormones such as testosterone. Also present are numerous other chemicals and volatile oils like camphor, which help restore the sex drive and libido. The second effect is its beneficial effect on circulation.

Maca (Lepidium meyenii)
A centuries-old remedy for stimulating the libido of both men and women, it is also a true superfood, packed with vital nutrients, leaving you feeling more clear-headed, improving memory, and increasing stamina and energy.

Ashwagandha (Withania Somnifera, Winter Cherry)
Improves the body's ability to maintain physical effort and helps to tackle various types of stress. It maintains proper nourishment of the tissues, particularly muscles and bones, while supporting the proper function of the adrenals and reproductive system. It has recently been shown to restore the neurotransmitters and hence can be useful in various mental disorders. It is especially beneficial in stress-related disorders such as arthritis, hypertension, diabetes, general debility. Historically ashwagandha root has also been noted to have sex-enhancing properties.

Cynomorium (Cynomorium songaricum, suo yang, Maltese Mushroom)
Cynomorium is used to treat impotence in men, and infertility and lack of libido in women. It is widely believed in the Orient to be a superb longevity herb.
